PLAYA DEL REY FAMILY + CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHY

Elsa's ruby shoes, their sparkly finish glinting in the setting sun, stood in bright contrast to the green grass underfoot. No Wicked Witch was going to swoop down to ruin this day, for there was plenty to celebrate, and the afternoon was perfect. Tanya and Peter were celebrating an anniversary, as well as a soon-to-be new addition to the family, and you can bet I felt pretty priviledged to have been chosen to capture this special time in their lives.

There's so many rewards to a portrait session beyond the pictures, and meeting great people like Tanya, Peter, and Elsa is one of them. Everyone was so incredibly relaxed and at ease, and their willingness to have fun and explore our location really scored us some cool captures! Elsa was just a joy, and when she jumped into her red tutu, she glimmered like a crimson mermaid, dancing on the beach.

I've since been told Elsa couldn't stop talking about the session after we had wrapped. To me, that's the sweet icing on this already charmed session.
