EXETER PORTSMOUTH NH SENIOR PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

You have your Senior Portrait Session. And then there’s your Family Portrait Session. Why not combine them? That’s exactly what we did here during this hybrid session — the Senior Family Portrait Session Combo. Working around the beautiful wooded surroundings of their New Hampshire home, we spent the first half hour shooting photographs of mom and her sons together. Then, with the remaining thirty minutes of our session, we shifted the attention to our senior, “M.”, for some solo time in front of the lens for his senior portraits. An adult needs to accompany the senior during their shoot anyway, so if everyone can coordinate their schedules, consider booking a family session and sharing the time.

I also really loved how we were able to incorporate an action shot of M. sharing his skills on the drums. When it comes to student yearbooks, some schools will allow you to include both a Senior Portrait and a Senior Personality Photo, the latter allowing you to be your unposed self, usually engaged in a talent, hobby, or sport you enjoy. It took us a few takes to get the timing of the photo and drumming just right, but we eventually nailed it!
