HAMPTON BEACH FAMILY PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Always nice to have a family return for another portrait session together! It had been almost a year since I had last worked with Z. & J. , and despite the chilly weather, we set out for another fun afternoon of picture taking. With a dusting of snow still on the beach and an icy wind whipping off the water, we made quick work capturing some cozy moments at Hampton Beach and North Hampton State Park Beach in Southern New Hampshire. There’s a wonderful quality to the light this time of year, with hints of purple and blue, and a softer presence with the sun low in the sky. Sure, the temperatures can definitely be brisk, but winter and early spring photo shoots are a great chance to layer up, escape outdoors, and experience a look unique to New England. Even more importantly, years from now, it’s not the weather you’ll remember, but instead the preserved memory of a shared experience with family.
