CAPE ANN ROCKPORT SENIOR PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Rockport, Massachusetts is a great location for a senior portrait session! What makes the area so unique and wonderful for photography is the variety of seaside nooks and coastal backgrounds all within a short walking distance of each other. During our hour session together, we were able to visit the charming Bearskin Neck shopping distinct, with its colorful assortment of shops, piers, and weathered facades. There’s also the stone jetty clawing out into Rockport Harbor, Harvey Park, and just around the corner, Front Beach, for those classic oceanside poses. And most notable of all, of course, is Bradley Wharf’s Motif #1, the red fishing shack dubbed “the most often-painted building in America.”

Be sure to keep Essex County and Cape Ann on your shortlist of places if you love and want to capture the character of New England in your senior portraits. D. looked right at home in this setting, and I’m so happy we had the chance to spend the afternoon exploring downtown Rockport for his pictures.
