SEABROOK FAMILY PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

The beaches of Seabrook, NH have been a wonderful — and popular — spot for family portrait sessions this summer. With many families enjoying long overdue reunions and vacations this season after a year of time apart, the quaint cottages and rentals along Seabrook’s seashore are a prime choice for a seaside getaway. And to commemorate this special time together, some families have chosen to document the memory with professional photographs.

Just as one would book their rental or Airbnb months in advance, try to book your photographer with enough notice as well. Most of the families I’ve had the pleasure of working with this summer booked their session in the late spring (April to May) to secure their date on the summer calendar. Summer and fall are the busiest seasons for most outdoor natural light portrait photographers here in New England, so if you’re considering family pictures for those months, you’ll have a broader choice of session dates if you get in touch a couple months in advance of your desired timeframe.

I had a great time with this family along the surf and rocks at Seabrook’s Beckmans Point. A late afternoon thunder shower cleared the crowds on the sands and made for that soft, gentle light we always hope for when shooting at the beach.
